What is Skijoring?

Skijoring is an exhilarating winter sport held in Thayne, Wyoming. Participants are pulled on skis by a horse, navigating through a course filled with obstacles and jumps competing for an incredible buckle and loads of cash! The town surrounds the race to watch the thrill while shopping vendors, enjoying food vendors, and becoming one as a community.

    This adrenaline producing event will be packed with people and filled with so much fun. Here's what to know before you go! Thayne's weather is unpredictable and cold. Bring layers! There will be a beer garden with lots of good food vendors, product vendors, and so much community! You will be able to purchase a one-day pass, weekend pass or VIP pass. A VIP PASS will provide you a designated area for a car/tent for the weekend away from the crowd
